About our privacy policy
EMGA International B.V. gives a lot to your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We may use your data for (targeted) marketing purposes. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by EMGA International B.V.. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 01/01/2019, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions. Web shop software / hosting
Our web shop has been developed with third-party software. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. This party has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have made with them, we must take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption, a strong password policy and secure data storage. This party reserves the right to share collected data within its own group and affiliated partners to further improve the service and takes into account the applicable statutory retention periods for (personal) data. We also take out web hosting services from third parties. This processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for your own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services, these are not personal data. Appropriate technical and organizational measures have been taken here to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. They are obliged to observe secrecy on the basis of the confidentiality agreement.
E-mail / mailing lists
We send our e-mail newsletters with a web-program. Your e-mail address could be used for information provision in the form of newsletters, product statements and offers. This program will never use your name and e-mail address for your own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail sent automatically via our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely. This program uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether e-mails are opened and read. It reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of the service and in this context possibly share information with third parties.
Shipping and logistics
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your order delivered to you. We use the services of different carriers to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with these parties. These carriers use this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that these carriers call in subcontractors, they will also make your data available to these parties.
Purpose of data processing

Retention periods
We keep your information as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we need to keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period is in effect. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in connection with your order.
